the morning of January 10, 2026. Book of Youth organised the event in Collaboration

stretch of the flyover, welcoming cool breeze and rare views that are seen every day in
urban life. Many of the participants chose between 2.5 km and 5 km runs, both flagged
off at 7:00 AM, creating a relaxed atmosphere where peace matters more.
The event has no timing pressure or pace competition, just the roads were open widely and people sharing energy towards each other. Runners included seasoned athletes
and casual joggers and started the day with a strong, stoppable feeling. Once the run
was complete, the flyover became a social space. Fresh coffee, live DJ music,
Spontaneous dancing took over. The Coffee Rave brought runners, creatives and
founders together and turned the post-run into a celebration of community. The event
perfectly captured the growing shift in urban fitness culture where wellness meets
lifestyle and workouts are followed by meaningful social interactions rather than quick
exits.

the event. Through its user-friendly digital platform, iFinish ensured a seamless
registration experience, enabling easy sign-ups, efficient participant management, and
smooth coordination for the organisers. The platform’s reliability played a key role in
delivering a hassle-free experience for runners, allowing them to focus entirely on the
run and the vibe.
Though there was no official chief guest or announced sponsors, the Sunrise Run &
Coffee Rave stood out for its authenticity and creativity. By transforming an unopened
flyover into a temporary cultural and fitness space, the organisers showcased how
urban infrastructure can be reimagined to foster movement, music and meaningful
connections.
The success of the event reflects a growing appetite for community-driven, experiential
fitness gatherings in Bengaluru, where running is just the starting point. As the sun
climbed higher and the city slowly returned to its usual rhythm, participants left with
more than just endorphins. They carried with them fresh conversations, shared laughter and the lingering high of a morning well spent, proving that sometimes, the best way to
run a city is to run through it together.
