World Environment Day – 5K Run 2026 to Promote a Greener Tomorrow at Necklace Road, Hyderabad

On June 14, 2026, the World Environment Day 5K Run will take place on Necklace Road, Hyderabad. The event will bring fitness enthusiasts, families, and environmental advocates together for a meaningful environmental cause. The event is organised by Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust (UARDT), with the motto to spread awareness about environmental conservation and to encourage citizens to take a step forward in building a greener and cleaner future.

The event is going with the tagline of “Let's come together for a cleaner and greener tomorrow”, and highlighting environmental responsibility and sustainable living. Participants can enjoy a refreshing morning at the race, with a focus on protecting nature and promoting eco-friendly practices. Dr Umar Alisha is going to be the chief guest of the event.

All participants will receive a finisher medal, an event t-shirt, breakfast, refreshments, an energy drink, an e-certificate, and a plant sapling for a good environmental cause. Reporting for the Run For Green 5K begins at 6:00 AM, with the race scheduled to start at 6:15 AM.
